Annie Wersching

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress , best known for her role in 24 and for the voice work that she did for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. Wersching started her acting career with an appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, before moving on to guest-starring roles on such shows as Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural and Cold Case. From March through November 2007, she played the recurring character as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. She has been employed at theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. When she was a teenager, she was a competitor in Irish dance and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Millikin University. Following her appearance on 24 for two seasons, Wersching was a guest star on several shows including Rizzoli and Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also appeared in Dallas, Revolution Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries, Touch, which is a co-production with her 24 co-star Kiefer Sultrland. She was a series regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch's first season in 2014. Wersching portrayed the role of catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game. Wersching also voiced the character Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter before her identity was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to play the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in season 2.
