Alexandra Rose Raisman was born on May 25, 1994. She retired as an American artistic gymnast. She was the American women's Olympic gymnastics team captain for both the 2012 and 2016 "Fierce Five" U.S. teams. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she took home a gold in the team competition with her teammate Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who have won back-to-back team gold medals. Raisman also won silver medals in the individual all-around as well as the floor exercise. Raisman won silver medals for the individual all-around and also for the floor exercise. Morgan was born July 2, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. They raised her along with her sisters, Jeni and Jeri, in the Los Angeles suburb of Diamond Bar. Morgan played many sports throughout her early years, but didn't really like soccer until she reached 14. Following high school, Morgan was a part of Cypress Elite's club team. They were the winners of the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and finished third in their under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to improve her soccer skills at Diamond Bar High School. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) picked Morgan to be an All-American Athlete. She was also a participant of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) regional and state divisions. Morgan continued her career in soccer at UC Berkeley.
