Eiza Gonzalez Reyna (born 30 January 1990) is a Mexican actress and singer from Mexico.. Her first role in the Mexican musical television show Lola erase unavez (2007-2008) was one of her most recognizable. Later, she was the character Clara Molina in the Nickelodeon Teen Drama Suena conmigo (2010)-2011. Gonzalez was born in Mexico City. She is the sole daughter of Carlos Gonzalez and Glenda Reyna, who was a former Mexican model. Her father passed away in a motorbike crash at the age of 12; she has claimed that her father's death was a strong influence in her career. She is 12 years older than her younger brother Yulen. Edron Academy was her private bi-lingual school. The American School Foundation is in Mexico City. She was an integral part of the Argentine telenovela Floricienta, where she was written and directed by Pedro Damian. She began acting at 14 years old. She was an actor in the Santanico scene in the drama series "Horror" which aired on Dusk Till Dawn The Show (2014-2016). Gonzalez was a resident of Los Angeles as of August 2013. In September of 2015, she admitted that she was suffering from depression and compulsive overeating between age 15 and 20 as a result of her father's death. [43][44] She is dating lacrosse player Paul Rabil.
