American actress Halston Jean Schrage was born on the 10th of May the 10th of May, 1993. She is known as Halston Sage. She is famous for her roles in the roles of Grace in the Nickelodeon television show How to Rock, Amber on the NBC television series Crisis, and Lacey in the film Paper Towns. Sage was born in Los Angeles, California. Sage is the daughter of Lenny Schrage and Tema Schrage. She is the younger sister of a brother, and an older sibling. She is Jewish. Sage was a horse rider in competition and was editor of the newspaper at her high school. Sage's professional career started in 2011 when she was selected to play Grace in Nickelodeon's How to Rock. The series aired for one 25-episode series. She has also guest starred on Nickelodeon's Victorious and Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures. In February of 2013, Sage was cast in the short-lived NBC television thriller series Crisis in which she played Amber who is the daughter of Gillian Anderson's character. In 2016 she was cast in a leading role as Alara Kitan on the science fiction drama series The Orville, which premiered on Fox on September 10th, 2017. The Orville was announced that in January of 2019 Sage had left the cast of The Orville following the episode "Home", though her departure was seen as open with the possibility of a return in the future.
