Meredith Salenger
Salenger was a performer with her friends and family when she was an infant. When she was eight her mother invited her to her first class in acting. Her first performance was an 'orphan who sings, dances and dances' in Annie, John Huston's feature film. Salenger was also a part of several commercials on television. Salenger was the first actress to appear in the Disney film The Journey of Nattygann with Ray Wise and John Cusack. The film earned her the Young Artist Awards Best Actress in Drama Award. She appeared in four other films prior to her 18th birthday. They included A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon (1988), The Kiss (1988), and Dream a Little Dream (1989). Following her acting career, she enrolled at Harvard to further her studies. Following her return to Hollywood, Salenger resumed acting with credits which include Lake Placid as well as The Third Wheel. Salenger was also featured in independent films such as Sparkle & Charm and Quality Time. Buffy the Vampire Slayer's episode from 1998 included Salenger. She sang a track called "Flow Through Me" featuring Hush and Koishii. She was also an actor in the background of the Counting Crows video "Hanging Around". Salenger was an actor on Dawson's Creek film critic Amy Lloyd in two episodes from 2002. She also appeared in Cold Case as Sloane Easton who was the victim in the episode "Ravaged". Salenger was in Race to Witch Mountain, an upcoming Disney film where she was Natalie Gann, a television reporter. Salenger played the role of several characters on the Cartoon Network's Star Wars The Clone Wars. She voiced Ione Marcy and Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee during the second season, Che Amandwe Papanoida during season three, and Pluma Sodi in season four. In the eight-episode Nick at Nite drama series Hollywood Heights, Salenger also was the voice of Lisa Sanders. She also was in numerous episodes of Mad and Robot Chicken. Salenger also played the role of the Nightsister ghost in Star Wars Rebels' season three episodes. She was portrayed by Elias Koteas and Virginia Madsen in Jake Squared, as well as Jennifer Jason Leigh.
