Serinda Swan - Biography
Serinda Swan is a Canadian actress, model and activist best known for her roles in the role of Erica Reed in the A&E series 'Breakout King', as Paige Arkin in the USA Network series 'Graceland' and as Jenny Cooper in the CBC series "Coroner". She also starred as Medusa in Marvel's short-lived show "Inhumans," and also had regular roles in the HBO series "Ballers'". She was Anne Bancroft in one episode of 'Feud: Bette and Joan'. Serinda Swan was a little girl who accompanied her mother, an actress, on the set. She had her first appearance in a film at the age of three, in a tiny role in the Ted Danson/Isabella Rossellini film "Cousins" in 1989. Director Joel Schumacher had personally chosen her to play the role. The following years she continued to appear in commercials for brands including Milky Way, Much Music, Macy's and Absolute Poker as well as becoming as the spokesperson of Absolute Poker. Serinda Swan. Swan was born on July 11, 1984, in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and was raised in West Vancouver and in the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Her mother was an actress as was her father, Scott Swan, is an actor and theatre director who operates an acting school. The name was derived from the Tibetan flute. She is of English, Scottish, Irish and Scottish origin. She is the youngest daughter of her parents. Her sister is a model. She was educated at a Waldorf school in her youth and has been practicing gymnastics for the past ten years. She worked as waitress in the restaurant. After spending time in Hawaii as a kid, she has become very fond of surfing. She owns an French bulldog named 'Buddha'.
