2 Chainz Biography
Tauheed Epps, also known as 2 Chainz, is a hip hop artist and rapper from America. He is a native of Georgia He started his career in music by forming the hip hop duo Playaz Circle, along with an old high school buddy. Their first album, titled Supply and Demand', was a disappointing success. Epps later released "Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200, it was a huge success. In the very first week following its release, it was sold out to 147,000 copies. He hasn't looked back since the album's release and has since risen to become one of the most respected rappers in America. He's been nominated for six Grammy Awards so far. One of them was awarded to him for his song "No Problem". In 2013, he sparked controversy after he was found with promethazine and marijuana on the flight departing from Los Angeles International Airport. His brushes with the law didn't hinder his popularity. His fourth studio album, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music", was released in June of 2017. Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz's debut studio album, is both his first major record and his most commercially successful. The album was an enormous success and reached the top of the US Billboard 200. The album also sold 147,000 copies in a matter of weeks. The album was sold out 623,000 times over the course of the year. It was nominated for the Grammy Award in the category of Best Rap Album' at the 55th Grammy Awards. Most reviews were negative. 2 Chainz got married to Kesha Ward on March 31, 2013. The couple has three children: Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. Despite a successful professional career, he's notorious for his brushes with the law. He was arrested several times for drug possession.
