Kari Matchett, an Canadian actress, is known for her roles in films like 'Apartment Hunting' "Men with Brooms" and The Tree of Life. Born in Spalding, Saskatchewan and raised in the area, she later moved to Alberta where she completed high school. The art of acting was something she learned about in her teens. She enrolled at the Montreal's National Theatre School and then transferred to the Moscow Theatre School for further training. In 1996, she was in an supporting role in the Canadian series 'The Rez. In the year 1996, she played a supporting role in the series from Canada called "The Rez.' In the late 1990s, she made her film debut in the form of the film "Papertrail" and later appeared in films such as "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." She also played supporting roles on shows such as "A Nero Wolfe Mystery,' and Blue Murder. Although she was acting in films throughout the 2000s and beyond however, her screen appearances were less than her television appearances. She also played the lead actress in the 1998 Canadian drama called Power Play. The show received both critical and commercial acclaim and ran for two seasons and 26 episodes. In recognition of her role in the series she was nominated for a Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett was born to her in June of 2013. She did not reveal the name of her father or her child. According to some reports,, the father of her boy is her ex-boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and T.W. Peacocke. They began dating in the late 1990s. The couple was married in 1998. However, the marriage was not long-lasting and the couple split in 2006.
