Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy (19 November 1975) is a Canadian actor and singer. She is best known for her roles in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor in the television show Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the lead character on Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She has also been acting in movies like RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, her father, was a meat-salesman and a marketing/sales executive. His job involved a lot of travel, which led to numerous relocations for the family. Maxine, Maxine's secretary mother, left the family in 1982. Eleanor, Eleanor's paternal grandmother, looked after her daughter, who lived in Kitchener. Her younger brother, John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and an identical twin sister named Jacqueline She is a magazine writer and TV host in Canada. Hennessy is from Irish, French and Swedish descent, as well as Ukrainian Roma and Austrian ancestry. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School. Grand River Collegiate Institute was her graduation. She used to busk in the subway system of Toronto. Hennessy, her sister and her first performance was as twin call girls on 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, has stated that she was shortlisted in The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the role as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to play the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. She played this role for three seasons before being removed from the series as an actor in 1996.
