Alona Tal
Alona Tal, an Israeli-American performer and actress, was born on October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. Her career began when she served in the Israeli Defense Forces. She made her acting debut in an Israeli film in 2003. She was also a part of two Israeli TV shows at the time. She tried her hand at singing and recorded a few songs along with Subliminal who is an Israeli rapper. Tal relocated with her sister in New York in order to be away from her career. In the hit song "Party to Damascus" she performed a collaboration with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. American television was a place she established herself. Her first part was a recurring one in the TV show Veronica Mars. Tal eventually earned an established role on the CBS series. After his move to New York, he appeared in two television shows in Israel. Wyclef Jean recorded a song. Hebrew is her first language. The actress came in second place for the role as Veronica on Veronica Mars (2004).Originally she auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the lead role. Thomas loved her so much that he designed the role of Meg Manning specifically for her. He served in The Israel Defense Forces. Both her parents are Jewish - her father is Jewish/Turkish, and her mother is Polish/Jewish. Plays the role of Adrian Monk's daughter in the final episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish.
