Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter (born July 23, 1970) is an American actress from the United States. Cordelia Chase was a character in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama series (1997-1999), and the spin-off series Angel (1999-04). Also, she was a part of Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was the main character in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Carpenter was also a part of a group of dancers and singers which was a part of Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family relocated to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) when Carpenter was 15 years old. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter embarked on a journey to Europe after graduating. She returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, working as an aerobics instructor, property management, and as a clerk. She also was a cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football in 1991. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. was a tyrant who attacked her and two of her male buddies while they were swimming in San Diego. He was an ex- San Diego cop and serial rapist , who tried to intimidate them by threatening them with a firearm. During the battle, both her friends and Hubbard were shot, causing him to flee the scene. Both survived the attack. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 years imprisonment for a series of rapes and robberies. Carpenter stole Hubbard's flashlight which was a police-issue flashlight, away from the shore. The flashlight proved to be a vital piece of evidence used against Hubbard.
