Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was born in Augusta, Maine, the daughter of Alison and James Nichols, a schoolteacher. She is of French Canadian and English descent. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated from the school with a math diploma and a high jump that was competitive. She attended Columbia University in New York City and eventually was awarded a double degree in economics and math. Then she began modeling, beginning an impressive career as a model working for such high-profile companies as Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel became an actor by landing a role in the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) at her very first audition. In the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, When Harry Met Lloyd (2003), she made her film debut playing Jessica Matthews. Success continued with performances in projects such like The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a role that is a recurring part in the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). She played the role of the lead of a police officer Kiera Cameron on the science fiction show Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in math and economics. Modeled for Guess? and Abercrombie & Fitch as well as L'Oreal, Nicole Miller, and L'Oreal. She was the restaurant hostess in Sex and the City, the first role in which she auditioned. Both Nichols together with Star Trek (2009) star Zoe Saldana, went on to work for Stephen Lang. Saldana co-starred alongside Lang in Avatar (2009); Nichols along with Lang in Conan the Barbarian (2011). Michael Kershaw was her real estate developer. She proposed to her on December 30 in 2013.
