Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell was a television personality, a ex-chef in the Institute of Culinary Education and in the past, she taught cooking. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her signature sparkling blonde locks, and her bubbly up personality, provides easy techniques anyone can learn. Chef Burrell was also employed in many of New York's best restaurant chains, delved into Italian cuisine and the traditions associated with it, and was a contestant on Food Network Iron Chef America. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell was captivated by culinary arts and cooking from the age of. After obtaining an English and Communication degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she decided to follow her dream of the industry of restaurants by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America. I was awed by every minute during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she says. I was unable to learn enough, didn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. Following her graduation, Chef Burrell was able to spend a full year in Italy attending an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working for La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a 1 Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. Her understanding grew of Italian culture and cuisine throughout her time in Italy, which has influenced the way she cooks. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve the lives of children who face difficulties. She is also a Juvenile Research Foundation celebrity ambassador in which she promotes the awareness of young-onset diabetes. Her travels are frequent across the United States in her position in the capacity of mentor as well as public speaker in which she speaks about her work and passion for cooking. Throughout Anne's culinary journey she has often said that I am blessed to be able to share my true passion to others.
